Interep is deeply committed to training highly motivated college graduates in all aspects of sales in the radio advertising business. Our Radio Apprentice Program (RAP) has received widespread industry recognition as being the gold standard for training excellence. The intensive 9-week program introduces our apprentices to the fundamentals of national radio sales.

What Apprentices Learn

Our "Rappers" gain practical, hands-on experience by working in areas such as:

• Radio Research, History and Marketing
• Sales and Presentation Skills
• Negotiation Strategies

Graduates

Graduates of the program will interview for an Account Executive opportunity in one of our Interep offices nationwide. They will continue their sales growth with ongoing training and mentoring from our many experienced Managers and Account Executives so that one day they maybe in the very same positions and help new rappers. More than 175 students have graduated from the program since its inception in 1993.

The Radio Apprentice Program is open to top notch applicants. Please print, complete, and mail/fax back the downloadable PDF application. Applications are reviewed by a recruitment committee. If the application is approved, candidates will then have an interview with a member of the recruitment committee. After all the interviews have taken place, the final selections will be made.
